Job Description

In an international environment undergoing significant transformation of IT delivery and technology usage, driven by strategic partnerships, cloud adoption, infrastructure outsourcing, and business service digitalization, the architecture department seeks a Solution Architect to support and shape critical initiatives.

The role forms part of a modern and agile architecture team, committed to continuous reassessment and innovation. Solutions developed will directly impact over 110,000 employees across the globe.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Analyze business needs and existing IT system architecture across domains.
  • Propose end-to-end IT solutions aligned with enterprise strategy and infrastructure capabilities.
  • Define, evolve, and promote architectural standards, reusable patterns, and service catalogs.
  • Evaluate and prototype new solutions, including SaaS, and manage technical dialogues with vendors.
  • Contribute to modernization of legacy systems and actively support the cloud migration strategy (methodology, deployment, and execution).
  • Produce and maintain architectural documentation (HLDs, LLDs), ensuring alignment with strategic, security, and operational requirements.
  • Present architecture proposals to relevant committees and ensure formal validation.
  • Ensure solution quality and adherence to architecture through delivery oversight.
  • Conduct ongoing technology watch and identify emerging technologies and patterns for business value.
  • Support the architectural community through participation, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
  • Assist project management and functional stakeholders with architecture-driven decision-making.
  • Maintain architectural assets, including enterprise inventory tools and document repositories.
  • Prepare scope documents, RFPs, RFIs, and contribute to vendor selection processes.
  • Support technical and business project teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Profile

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering (Bac +4/5).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in solution architecture, including leadership of transformation projects.
  • Proven experience across public and private sectors in international environments with diverse technological stacks.
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise IT architecture:
  • Applications & Technologies: Java, .NET, Node.js, Python, microservices, APIs.
  • Cloud Platforms: AWS (certification preferred), with practical implementation experience.
  • Databases: Relational and non-relational (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Snowflake).
  • Integration & Messaging: API gateways, Kafka, MuleSoft, Solace, ODI, BODS, EDIFACT.
  • Containers & CI/CD: Kubernetes, Rancher, XL Deploy, Cycloid.
  • Security: PKI, OAuth, OIDC, JWT, SOC standards.
  • Monitoring: Dynatrace, Prometheus, ELK.
  • Collaboration Tools: Exchange, O365, SharePoint.
  • foundation in architecture frameworks and patterns: Software: DDD, reactive architecture
  • Enterprise: TOGAF, ArchiMate (certification advantageous)
  • Solution: EDA, MDM
  • Familiarity with collaborative platforms such as Confluence, JIRA, Git, SharePoint, Lucidchart.
  • Previous involvement in organizations adopting SAFe or Product Mode delivery models.
