Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Release Management professional to join a dynamic, fast-paced Salesforce environment.

  • 4–6 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Triggers.
  • Solid background in release management or a similar DevOps-focused role within Salesforce environments.
  • Strong experience with Git-based version control systems (such as Bitbucket) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Proficiency with Salesforce DX, VS Code, and Tooling/Metadata APIs.
  • Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Advanced Administrator, App Builder, Sales/Service Cloud) are preferred.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage code merges and deploy releases to testing environments.
  • Maintain and update the release workbook within test environments.
  • Coordinate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth release cycles.
  • Improve and automate deployment processes to minimize manual intervention and reduce errors.
  • Monitor deployments, quickly identify issues, and resolve release-related problems.
  • Keep documentation related to release processes and deployment standards up to date.
  • Ensure adherence to internal best practices and industry standards.
  • Understand business requirements to align technical releases with overall delivery objectives.
  • Stay aligned with the technical architecture and assess the impact of deployments.

Required Qualifications
Mandatory:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of practical Salesforce development experience.
  • At least one Salesforce certification (Administrator, Advanced Administrator, App Builder, or Sales/Service Cloud).
  • Demonstrated experience in release management or DevOps roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and version control practices.
  • Experience with tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Salesforce DX.
  • Hands-on experience with Apex, Visualforce, LWC, Triggers, and Flows.
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and environments.
  • Strong analytical thinking and clear communication skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with Salesforce deployment strategies and best practices.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Exposure to offshore or distributed teams.
