Job Description
MISSION:
As part of the Group’s Information Systems Department of a global organization, and in the role of Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing Capabilities that are efficient and scalable enough to support development, agility, innovation, and consistency across the company’s information systems.
Working closely with Business teams, you will contribute to shaping the overall IT roadmap and support the creation and documentation of Business Capabilities — from initial design through to operational use.
You should be comfortable operating in a fast-changing IT environment, including transitions toward product-centric models and global IT alignment.
With proven experience in conducting feasibility studies and developing enterprise architecture Capabilities within large, evolving systems, you are expected to make pragmatic, well-informed decisions that consider existing assets and system constraints (e.g., ERP and legacy systems), ensuring timely alignment with business needs.
Main Responsibilities and Objectives:
Within the “Enterprise Architecture” department:
- Conduct pre-studies to define how to integrate new Business & Solution functionalities into the information system.
- Maintain an up-to-date enterprise architecture map; ensure its accuracy and quality.
- Ensure consistency of the Information System by identifying gaps with established strategies.
- Develop new application or technology roadmaps.
- Establish and actively lead a community of architects, business stakeholders, and operational IT teams across one or more business domains.
Profile and Skills:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Information Systems, including at least 5 years as an Enterprise Architect (with experience in defining and implementing urbanization plans).
- Experience working with global Business and IT teams to structure the Business, Information/Functional, and Data layers.
- Knowledge of a framework such as TOGAF is recommended.
- Experience in setting up and managing an architecture community is preferred.
- Experience in business process modeling is recommended to support teams as a methodological reference.
- Fluent in English and French (written and spoken), and comfortable in an international work environment.
- Proactive, strong leadership, excellent analytical, synthesis, and communication skills.
