Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer to oversee and implement quality assurance and control processes for our data center construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil, mechanical, electrical, and ICT systems, with hands-on experience in mission-critical environments such as Tier III and Tier IV certified data centers.

Key Responsibilities:

•Develop and implement the project Quality Plan and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for data center systems and structures.
•Conduct inspections and audits on site to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards (e.g., Uptime Institute, ASHRAE, ISO 9001).
•Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure quality requirements are understood and met.
•Review and approve Method Statements, Material Submittals, and Work Procedures.
•Monitor the quality of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and ICT installations during execution.
•Witness testing and commissioning activities including FAT, SAT, and IST for critical systems (e.g., UPS, CRAC units, generators, fire suppression, BMS).Identify non-conformances and ensure appropriate corrective and preventive actions are taken.
•Maintain quality records and generate daily/weekly/monthly QA/QC reports.
•Support client inspections and third-party audits.
•Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness across the project.

 

Qualifications:

•Saudi Nationality
•Strong knowledge of construction quality standards, codes (e.g., NFPA, NEC, ASHRAE), and commissioning protocols.
•Certification in QA/QC (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, ASQ CQE) is preferred.
•Familiarity with project management tools, QA/QC documentation systems, and BIM is a plus.
•Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
•Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
•Experience in Tier III or Tier IV certified data centers.
•Knowledge of Uptime Institute, or BICSI standards.
•Experience with HSE coordination is an added advantage.
•Ability to foster innovative solutions within the project team to meet tight deadlines.
•Ability to have a good impact and influence key decisions.
•Excellent customer service mindset. Must be able to balance the needs of multiple stakeholders and sponsors on projects.
•Good English (Verbal/Written)
•Microsoft Office: Word /Excel / PowerPoint/ MS Project
•Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and easily with end users (English/ Arabic), especially in conflict situations.
•Flexible to travel to sites/Branches.
•Flexible to relocate on Sites/Branches

To have ensured one or more trainings in the related track/field; such as:
•Certification in QA/QC (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, ASQ CQE)
•BICSI
•Uptime Institute
