About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Procurement Officer to lead information systems purchasing activities under the supervision of the Indirect Procurement Manager. You’ll act as a strategic business partner to operational teams helping them anticipate, define, and negotiate their procurement needs while also managing the full procurement cycle in line with company policies and ensuring high internal satisfaction.

You’ll also collaborate closely with your manager on selected strategic deals and contribute to the ongoing evolution and improvement of the procurement organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with internal teams to identify purchasing priorities and opportunities for optimization.
  • Develop and manage a panel of preferred suppliers based on cost, quality, risk, and sustainability criteria.
  • Oversee the complete contract lifecycle, including supplier performance evaluation and risk management.
  • Lead sourcing initiatives in collaboration with operational teams, including supplier analysis, industry benchmarking, and cost structure assessment.

Manage end-to-end RFx processes:

  • Support internal teams in defining and challenging requirements.
  • Prepare and execute RFIs and RFPs.
  • Negotiate contracts in line with legal, quality, and cost objectives.
  • Provide reporting and KPIs on procurement performance.
  • Support the rollout and improvement of procurement policies, tools, and processes across regions.
  • Maintain accurate contract and supplier data in the contract management system to ensure up-to-date records.

Your Profile

  • Degree in Procurement, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Buyer or Consultant in a procurement or technology-oriented environment (software, cloud, SaaS, etc.).
  • Strong technical understanding of IT procurement and ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and suppliers.
  • Skilled in contract review and collaboration with legal teams.
  • Familiar with procurement best practices and tools; strong proficiency in Excel.
  • Proven track record in negotiation, stakeholder management, and supplier relationship management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and adaptable mindset.
  • Autonomous, results-driven, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluent in English and French; experience in multicultural settings is an asset.
