Job Description

We are looking for an experienced professional to join our client’s team within a large international organization in the transport and logistics sector, operating in a complex global IT environment, with strong expertise in solution technical architecture and its evolution in response to business needs.

Main responsibilities:

  • Participate in technical projects aimed at improving or replacing existing systems.
  • Support and help manage our IT outsourcing provider and application partners.
  • Work closely with Infrastructure and Operations teams, Solution Managers, our application support partner, the outsourcing provider, and the technical teams of software vendors.
  • Provide support to the Business Solution Manager.
  • Propose innovative technical solutions and ensure optimal technical performance of applications (scalability, maintainability, operability, reusability, cost, etc.).
  • Produce, review, and manage technical documentation related to delivered solutions.
  • Pay particular attention to the shared objectives of the IT department: obsolescence management, digitalization, application renewal, etc.
  • The role reports to the Technical Solution Manager for the domain.

Skills / Knowledge

  • Strong technical expertise in SAP BASIS/HANA, ideally within an S/4 environment.
  • Advanced Shell scripting skills, essential for task automation under Linux.
  • Technical management of cloud-based applications, from application design through to run/operations setup.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and in an accessible way to non-specialists.
  • Additional knowledge is a plus: SAP BTP, Azure Cloud, Digitalization, Artificial Intelligence, Web Services & APIs, Data Lake & Business Intelligence.
  • Ability to manage complex systems, adapt to change, strong interpersonal skills, and a team-oriented mindset.

Experience & Education

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Education: Master’s degree (BAC+5), engineering school, or equivalent.
  • Languages: Fluent French and English.
