Job Description

The Enterprise Security Architect is responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive security architectures and solutions tailored to modern enterprise environments. The role places a particular emphasis on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cloud technologies (including public, private, and hybrid deployments), and Identity and Access Management (IAM). This position plays a critical role in ensuring the security, scalability, and resilience of enterprise IT infrastructure, aligned with business objectives and regulatory compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Designs and implements security architectures for cloud-based infrastructures, integrating modern security controls to safeguard AI systems, cloud services, and IAM platforms.
Conducts security assessments of AI, cloud, and IAM environments to ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and internal policies.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams—including engineering, IT, and business stakeholders—to define security requirements and embed security throughout system development and deployment lifecycles.
Develops and maintains strategic security roadmaps, aligning architectural decisions with business priorities, regulatory obligations, and evolving technology landscapes.
Ensures alignment with regulatory and industry frameworks such as NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, GDPR, SOC 2, CIS Benchmarks, and cloud-specific security standards.
Monitors emerging security threats in AI, cloud, and identity landscapes, and proactively identifies mitigation strategies.
Evaluates and advises on emerging security technologies and methodologies to foster innovation in secure cloud architecture and AI protection.
Provides guidance to DevOps teams, cloud architects, and IT operations to enable secure, high-performing, and scalable infrastructure supporting AI applications and identity services.
Contributes to the development of enterprise-wide security policies and best practices related to AI, cloud, and IAM domains.
Leads the adoption and enforcement of defensible architectures across cloud and AI environments, ensuring consistent application of the principle of least privilege.

Education & Professional Experience
Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a closely related field.
Possesses a minimum of 10 years of experience in security architecture, with demonstrable focus on AI systems, cloud technologies, and IAM in complex enterprise environments.
Demonstrates expertise in designing and implementing secure architectures for major cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
Has hands-on experience with IAM solutions such as Azure AD, Okta, Ping Identity, and similar platforms.
Is familiar with the distinct regulatory requirements and security considerations associated with AI and cloud-native systems.

Technical Qualifications
Exhibits in-depth understanding of security frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, CIS Controls, and relevant cloud security standards.
Demonstrates proficiency in deploying and managing cloud-native security tools and services across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.
Possesses strong knowledge of IAM principles, including RBAC, SSO, MFA, identity federation, and lifecycle management.
Understands AI-specific security risks, including data integrity, model manipulation, adversarial learning, and AI privacy.
Holds one or more recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, or CCSP.
Prior experience leading security architecture initiatives in the maritime or logistics sector is considered a significant advantage.
