ERP Functional Consultant
Job Description
Our client is an IT consulting and services company based in Lebanon, operating across multiple countries in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. For over 20 years, it has been an accredited competency center for SAGE products, the world’s third-largest provider of ERP solutions. Leveraging its consultants’ expertise in SAGE software—deployed across various industries—our client effectively addresses the IT needs of its partners.
As part of its expansion in Lebanon and Cyprus, the company is looking for an ERP Functional Consultant to join its team.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze and model clients’ business processes, provide guidance to support their decisions, and adapt workflows to meet their specific needs.
- Oversee and conduct functional testing of implemented solutions, as well as user training sessions.
- Manage the configuration and implementation of requested system enhancements.
- Actively participate in technological advancements and integrate them while adhering to client procedures.
- Deploy new functionalities or additional modules (e-signature management, workflows, configurator, etc.).
- Lead and manage software implementation or upgrade projects, primarily in the financial domain.
- Analyze client needs and propose financial solutions through the software.
- Draft test plans and ensure the quality of deliverables.
- Provide training and user support on the software.
- Ensure the quality and compliance of deployed financial solutions.
REPORTING LINE:
- Reports to a Project Manager or Lead Consultant.
- Close interaction and collaboration with both client and internal teams.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERTISE:
- Strong knowledge of finance modules in at least one market-leading ERP software.
- Ability to analyze and optimize financial processes.
- Fluent in both French and English, both written and spoken.
- Solid project management skills.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (equivalent to BAC +3 or more).
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
