Scope Of Work:

The Cybersecurity Officer responsibilities are to manage cybersecurity policies and ensure that the organization has security programs in place that adheres to regulations and best practices. S/he will oversee security awareness and manage the overall security posture.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Manage security awareness training programs.
  • Oversee incident response procedures.
  • Liaise with other departments on security matters.
  • Monitor and analyse network traffic and system logs to detect and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends and design appropriate security measures to mitigate risks.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and concerns regarding the security of the service cloud platform, and provide guidance on best practices for securely using the services.
  • Participate in incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and remediation of security incidents.
  • Maintain documentation of security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
  • Involve in security audits, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the service cloud platform, its data and customers, while maintaining a high level of customer trust and satisfaction.

Required Skills & Attributes:

  • Proven experience in leading network and cybersecurity operations.
  • Strong understanding of security principles, compliance regulations, and risk management.
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure, systems, and software.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements and their impact on cybersecurity.
  • Excellent problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving cybersecurity threats and technologies.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong task prioritisation and deadline management abilities.
  • Flexibility to travel to client sites/branches when required. Local travel may be necessary on occasion.

Training & Certifications:

To ensure maintaining his/her achieved advanced certifications in related track/field
• Security certifications (e.g., Security+ or CISSP).
