ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Senior Full Stack Developer role sits within the client’s core technology team. This team is building the platform’s back and front end systems, and is responsible for several products including partner dashboard, an internal admin panel, a driver mobile application, Shopify and WooCommerce applications, and a consumer facing app.
This candidate will play a key role in planning the work needed to scale up the tech and the evolution of the platform, and to collaborate with the development team on execution. The scope of work includes optimizing the data architecture to support the expanding product needs.
The candidate can expect to interface with the product and business teams to help realize the product vision, and lend their experience to help build the dev team and dev processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4-7 years of experience
- Deep understanding and extensive experience with JavaScript and related frameworks (Node.js, React).
- Proficiency in MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ, GraphQL, and Elastic.
- Strong experience in building and maintaining complex data architectures.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering B2B user-facing products.
- Expertise in system/infrastructure setup and maintenance is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and mentoring junior developers.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with scoping and development task planning planning.
