Our Client:
Our client is a Middle Eastern corporation that began operations in 1905 and grew with each succeeding generation, eventually establishing a second location in Geneva, Switzerland, in 1977.
Our client is looking for a Data & Consolidation Engineer who will be a member of the FP&A and Consolidation Department and will directly report to the FP&A and Consolidation Manager.
Role and responsibilities:
- Developing and enhancing the Reporting & Consolidation tool (OneStream) by creating
customized solutions for the company. - Maintaining and updating existing interfaces that communicate with the Reporting &
Consolidation tool. - Prioritizing automation to streamline manual processes and transform them into automated
ones. - Managing and monitoring projects to ensure efficient tracking of costs, tasks, and resource
allocation. - Acting as the primary point of contact for all technical aspects during the monthly reporting
process. - Organizing regular training sessions to keep users updated on new developments.
- Collaborating closely with the FP&A and Consolidation Manager to facilitate communication
with external consultants. - Assisting the FP&A and Consolidation department in defining the requirements for the new ERP
system (SAP). - Developing the interface between SAP and OneStream.
- Enhancing the current reporting package by implementing additional reporting schedules that
include both financial and non-financial data. - Supporting the FP&A and Consolidation Manager in his role and assisting with ad hoc projects.
Job requirements:
- University degree in Information Technology (Computer Science, Software Engineering).
- 5 years + of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of SQL language ,VBA and VB.net is a plus.
- Strong understanding of database architecture, design, and data processes.
- Basic accounting knowledge is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Power BI is a plus).
- Ability to conceptualize needs and transform them into automated tools.
- Excellent knowledge of English and Knowledge of any other language is a plus (French).
- Good communication skills and willingness to work with people of varied cultures.
- Excellent organizational skills (ability to prioritize, plan tasks, and respect deadlines).
