Job Description
As the Infrastructure and Security Lead, you will be tasked with developing, executing, and managing the company’s Infrastructure and Security strategy. Working closely with the DevOps, network, and development teams, you will ensure best practices are implemented to maintain a secure and resilient environment against potential threats.
Your main responsibilities :
Management :
Define and drive the strategy:
- Develop a roadmap for the Infrastructure and Security department, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic vision and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in creating the Infra/Cloud budget and monitor adherence.
- Evaluate and validate the selection of service providers, managing relationships with vendors, consultants, and other managed service providers.
Team leadership and development:
- Lead and develop the Infrastructure and Security team, which includes a DevOps engineer, a Security Engineer, and a Technical Helpdesk.
- Oversee project execution, set task priorities, and foster each team member’s growth and development.
Cloud Infrastructure:
- Organize internal information systems.
- Design and evaluate the company’s system, network architecture, and cloud hosting to meet organizational needs and goals.
- Configure, manage, and contribute to building new infrastructure components in the cloud environment, including containerization and native cloud services.
- Enhance cloud performance for optimal availability and reliability.
- Oversee deployment, storage, and data management on both internal and external platforms.
- Continuously monitor and maintain infrastructure to ensure system availability, performance, security, and reliability.
- Document internal processes and keep current with advancements in infrastructure technologies.
Security:
- In collaboration with the Security Engineer, design and enhance the comprehensive IT security policy, validating advanced cybersecurity solutions to ensure the infrastructure’s resilience against evolving threats.
- Work toward obtaining and maintaining ISO 27001 compliance. Identify and assess the company’s primary security risks.
- Lead the implementation, documentation, and simulation of a Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) to maintain operational continuity in case of a disaster.
Profile:
- At least 8 years of experience in technical roles focused on IT infrastructure, cloud environments, and cybersecurity, with some managerial responsibilities.
- Expertise in cloud technology, with a comprehensive skill set in infrastructure security.
- Proficiency in English, with a good command of French as an asset.
- Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP); a Google Professional Cloud Architect certification is a plus.
- Extensive experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD Pipelines, Linux, and Ansible.
- Deep understanding of security components, including firewalls (Fortinet), networking (VPC), and access management (IAM).
- Proven ability to design scalable, resilient, and secure cloud architectures.
- Capacity to automate recurring tasks to improve operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
