Job Description

Our client, a leading player in the financial technology sector, is expanding its service offerings to provide comprehensive project and technical support to investment banking clients. Initially focusing on Saudi Arabia, they are poised to extend their expertise across the Gulf region. As part of this strategic growth, they are seeking a talented and experienced Scrum Master to join their dynamic team.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master in delivering projects using Agile methodologies.
• Strong facilitation skills to lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ability to remove impediments and shield the team from distractions.
• Deep understanding of Agile principles and Scrum framework.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in backlog refinement and prioritization.
• Familiarity with agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts) and reporting to stakeholders
• Exposure to scaling Agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum at scale, or Nexus)
• Strong conflict resolution and servant-leadership mindset.
• Knowledge of complementary practices (Kanban, XP, DevOps)
• Develops, defines and executes project plans, project scope, activities, schedules, budgets and deliverables
• Coordinates activities and tasks among project team members, other internal departments and client or vendor/subcontractor organizations as needed to meet project goals and ensure project completion is on schedule.
• Manages project risks, issues/problems, and activity progress to ensure project goals are achieved
• Serves as liaison between technical and non-technical teams to ensure all project targets and requirements are met
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, Business Administration or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
• A strong technical background is required to manage technical projects
• Understanding of card issuance and processing, ePayment and financial solutions and services
• PMP Certified / Agile Scrum Master
• Additional certifications (PSM II, SAFe Agilist, ICAgile).
• Knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures, and guidelines
• Advanced skill in the use of Agile project management software to manage projects (e.g., MS Azure or Altlassian Jira)
• Years of Experience 3 +
• Working abroad and no travel constraints
• Very good verbal and written communication skills
