Our client, a leading player in the financial technology sector, is expanding its service offerings to provide comprehensive project and technical support to investment banking clients. Initially focusing on Saudi Arabia, they are poised to extend their expertise across the Gulf region. As part of this strategic growth, they are seeking a talented and experienced Application Support Engineer to join their dynamic team.
Requirements:
5 years of experience
Strong Technical Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting software related to banking environments.
Customer Service Orientation: Ability to handle customer inquiries efficiently, demonstrating strong communication skills.
Knowledge of Banking Regulations: Understanding of business and technical requirements related to IT in the banking sector (Credit card cycle, interest, API, ect)
Incident Management Expertise: Experience in using ticketing systems for tracking and resolving incidents effectively.
Advanced Networking Knowledge: Understanding of configuration, routing, and protocols specific to banking operations.
Scripting and Automation Skills: Ability to write scripts (e.g., SQL) to automate maintenance tasks and improve efficiency.
Certifications: SQL, Linux, or ITIL certifications.
Knowledge of Financial Software: Familiarity with commonly used banking applications and software (e.g., CMS, Core Banking Systems).
Willing to travel as much as required and to relocate abroad (KSA, Qatar, etc.)
Bachelor’s degree in information technology with Banking background with Technical knowledge
