I work as an IT Application Developer at Saint George University of Beirut, where I design, develop, and maintain mission-critical academic and administrative systems used across multiple departments. My role focuses on building secure, scalable, and efficient web applications that support the full lifecycle of student admissions, evaluations, and internal workflows. I am primarily responsible for developing and maintaining the SGUB Admissions Platform (Undergraduate, Medicine, and PGME), including applicant portals, interviewer dashboards, scoring systems, and administrative back-office tools. My work involves extensive backend development using ASP.NET Core (C#), SQL Server with complex stored procedures, encryption handling, and API integrations, as well as frontend development using Razor, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and modern UI/UX practices. In addition, I collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate operational requirements into technical solutions, optimize database performance, enforce data integrity and security, and deploy applications to production environments (IIS, cloud infrastructure). I also contribute to system architecture decisions, automation, and continuous improvement of existing platforms to ensure reliability, scalability, and a smooth user experience for staff, faculty, and applicants.
