Senior Developer

Job Description

Our client is seeking a Senior Developer with strong experience in Python and TypeScript (React) to join their development team. You will play a key role in designing and building scalable internal tools while mentoring junior team members and contributing to the evolution of the technical landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of robust, scalable internal tools.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Maintain high standards of code quality, including Type Hints, Unit Testing, and best practices in Python development.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using Python 3.10+ (experience with PySpark is a plus).
Contribute to front-end development using TypeScript and React.
Utilize and manage tooling such as Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers.
Support and enhance data engineering or data processing systems (experience in this area is a plus).

Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 6 years of professional software development experience.
Strong proficiency in Python, including:

Type Hinting
Unit Testing
Uvicorn/uvloop
Python 3.10+ features
(Optional) PySpark for big data processing
Solid experience in TypeScript and React for front-end development.
Familiarity with modern development practices, including version control (Git), Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Demonstrated experience in leading or mentoring development teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to data engineering or data processing tools.
Experience working in agile environments.
Fluency in French is a strong plus.

Academic Requirements:
Degree from an Engineering School in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
