Job Description

Our client in KSA is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst with expertise in banking systems and payment schemes. The role involves bridging business needs with functional solutions, conducting analysis, and supporting the design of payment processes in line with industry standards.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and document business and system requirements for banking and payment schemes (RTGS, ACH, Remittances).
  • Support projects involving domestic and cross-border payments, ensuring compliance with operational and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct gap analysis and AS-IS assessments to identify areas for process improvement.
  • Apply analytical, elaboration, and elicitation techniques to gather and refine requirements.
  • Assist in the design of functional solutions that align with business requirements and customer journey standards.
  • Ensure understanding and alignment with accounting cycles and treatments relevant to payment systems.
  • Provide insights into payment message structures (SWIFT MT and MX).
  • Contribute knowledge on SWIFT payment schemes to relevant projects.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of payment solutions.

Knowledge & Skills Requirements:

  • Business and systems of banking and payment schemes (RTGS, ACH, Remittances).
  • Domestic and cross-border payments.
  • Accounting cycles and treatment.
  • Payments message structure (SWIFT MT and MX).
  • Customer journey standards.
  • SWIFT payment schemes.

Functional Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in requirement gathering, elaboration, and elicitation techniques.
  • Ability to conduct gap analysis and AS-IS assessments.
  • Capability to design functional solutions matching business requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in banking, payments, or financial technology is highly desirable.
