Technical Architect – Financial Systems Integration

🛠️ Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Technical Architect with strong expertise in designing, integrating, and optimizing enterprise-grade financial and payment systems. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Java-based microservices architecture, cloud infrastructure (AWS), and complex system integration within banking or fintech environments.

🎯 Key Responsibilities:
Own and maintain solution architecture for financial systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
Lead requirement analysis (technical, functional, and non-functional) and develop Technical Design Documents (TDD).
Architect and implement end-to-end integration between bank systems and payment platforms.
Collaborate with SMEs, developers, testers, and stakeholders to align solutions with business goals.
Guide the software development lifecycle from design to deployment, including estimation and release management.
Leverage DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and distributed deployment.
Support ongoing system performance tuning, bug resolution, and implementation of functional enhancements.
Mentor junior engineers and lead technical discussions and grooming sessions.
Drive compliance with financial protocols (SWIFT, ISO20022, etc.) and standards.

🧰 Technical Skills Required:
Strong programming experience with Java, Spring Boot
Microservices and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
Cloud infrastructure: Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Jenkins, Git, Kafka
Databases: Oracle, IBM DB2
Monitoring: Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana
Authentication & Security: OAuth, OpenID, JWT
Experience with payment systems and banking domain integration
Knowledge of messaging queues and financial system APIs

✅ Preferred Qualifications:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or higher)
Experience working with international banks (e.g., UOB, Riyad Bank, Al Rajhi)
Proven track record delivering real-time payment systems
Understanding of standards like UNIFI / ISO20022
