Job Description

Our client is a consulting and IT services company that was founded in Lebanon and operates in various countries across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This company has been an accredited center of expertise for over 20 years for SAGE products, the world’s third-largest provider of ERP solutions. Thanks to the experience of its consultants with SAGE software, deployed across numerous sites and covering various types of activities, our client effectively meets all the IT needs of its customers.

Our client is seeking a skilled DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR (DBA) to join their team. The ideal candidate will have very good experience in SQL Server. Oracle is a plus.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform database tuning and performance monitoring.
  • Optimize and enhance database performance through indexing, partitioning, and server settings adjustments.
  • Conduct regular database backups and recovery processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a Database Administrator.
  • Strong expertise in SQL Server.
  • Experience with Oracle databases is a plus.
  • Knowledge of performance enhancement techniques, indexing, and partitioning.
  • Familiarity with server settings and configurations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • French is mandatory.
