Job Description

Our client is a company with a renowned team of experts in the field of IT technologies. Its broad and rich experience allows it to define, design, develop and deliver scalable IT systems and critical applications for e-Payment, Cards, and Financial solutions and services.

To assure its growth over the region, they are recruiting an Application Support Analyst to join their team.

Location: Beirut, Lebanon and willing to travel if required.

The Application Support Analyst will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining software systems at the clients’ sites and responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests from the end users, and attending to all locations where the software is implemented.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for attending to clients’ sites for installing, monitoring, and maintaining software.
  • Logs important incidents.
  • Resolves and closes incidents.
  • Escalates unresolved incidents.
  • Setting up user accounts.
  • Answer calls from the end users.
  • Provide Level 1 support.
  • Conducts software maintenance and support.
  • Train the end users on the software.
  • Execute test cases that are prepared by the QA managers.
  • Detecting bug issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, or information technology.
  • Fresh graduate or maximum from 1 to 2 years of experience as a Software Support & Test Specialist
  • Good technical skills in programming languages and IT solutions.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours when needed.
  • Must be able to support level 1 and 2 developments for fixing issues.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Working in Lebanon and willing to travel if required.
  • Working in an agile, fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge in testing skills.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
