Tech Lead Data Engineer – Lakehouse Ambassador
Job Description
JOB OBJECTIVE:
As a member of the Cloud center of excellence, you will be actively supporting Data Products Delivery as a co chair of a Forum across Value-Streamed Crews. A critical aspect of this role will involve leading the transformation of our data stacks from DataWarehouse paradigm (Microsoft SQL, SSAS ) technologies to Lakehouse Paradigm (Trino,Iceberg).
ROLES &RESPONSIBILITIES:
Data as a Product – Delivery & Community of Practice
- Advocate for the transformation to lakehouse in the data engineer
community - Define the data modeling best practices.
- Improve the data engineer developer experience
- Mentor Data Engineers and conduct code reviews.
- Use your deep expertise to solve, fix and improve our data platform.
- Animate training session for data engineers
- Create onboarding material for new comers
- Build data projects and transformation pipelines

Who you are:
- Your technical culture is deeply opensource.
- As a data expert, you have a solid technical background with data-intensive systems (>10 years).
- You speak cloud fluently.
- You already have been promoted to a role of Senior or Staff data engineer.
- Experience working with distributed computation framework like spark or Flink.
- You have a deep understanding of data modeling problems in a lakehouse environment.
