Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

A leading organization in the tech and (re)insurance space is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop and enhance core applications and contribute to an advanced Insurance Aggregator Platform. The ideal candidate has strong experience in Vue.js, PHP, Laravel, and modern web development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance features based on Jira requirements.

• Write clean, maintainable code using Vue.js, PHP, and Laravel.

• Conduct unit testing to ensure code quality and stability.

• Collaborate with stakeholders and QA teams to ensure smooth delivery.

• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and design discussions.

• Optimize application performance and scalability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

• 5+ years of web development experience.

• Strong expertise in Vue.js, Laravel, PHP, and RESTful APIs.

• Experience with MySQL, Git, Jira, and Agile/Scrum.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks (PHPUnit, Jest, etc.).

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Experience with Docker and CI/CD.

• Knowledge of insurance or fintech workflows.
