Product Delivery Manager
Overview: Product Delivery Managers oversee the planning and execution of projects across multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring seamless delivery of products and services. This role involves close collaboration with various departments, including Product and Technology, Commercial, and Operations, to transform strategic roadmaps into actionable delivery plans that teams can execute effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with departments such as Marketing, Operations, Commercial, and Service Management to ensure smooth transitions of products into the Business-As-Usual model.
- Manage the delivery of a diverse range of product-focused technology projects, from new initiatives to ongoing maintenance.
- Develop and drive project deliverables, timelines, and milestones while ensuring clear communication of these plans.
- Facilitate communication across multiple independent teams operating in different locations and time zones.
- Partner with Product teams to decompose requirements into actionable technical and non-technical tasks, ensuring alignment with available resources.
- Utilize project management tools like Jira to manage and plan work effectively.
- Maintain focus on product delivery priorities, ensuring timely and impactful outcomes.
- Foster collaboration and effective communication across teams, taking a leadership role in driving these practices.
Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders effectively.
- Proven experience in a product-led environment, collaborating with Product Owners and employing Agile methodologies.
- 3+ years of experience managing engineering or IT projects.
- Expertise in Agile delivery techniques, such as Kanban and Scrum.
- Experience working with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
- Demonstrated ability to define vision and strategy for technical products.
- Proven capability to initiate and drive projects forward in challenging environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, Jira Service Desk, Confluence).
- Familiarity with developing products and services adhering to safety, privacy, and regulatory standards (certifications preferred).
- At least one year of experience in a start-up or scale-up environment.
- Knowledge of healthcare IT markets is a plus.
- Experience with cloud technologies, telecommunications, and SaaS development and delivery.
