Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Our client is a Financial Institution (Fintech) based in Dubai and is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Executive to play a pivotal role in establishing and managing our HR functions in a fast-growing startup environment.

This role involves organizing and maintaining employee files, building company policies and procedures, creating documentation on platforms like Notion, and handling all HR-related tasks to support the company’s growth and culture.

 

JOB LOCATION: Lebanon

JOB MODE: Remotely

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. HR Administration:

  • Organize, manage, and maintain employee files, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a centralized HR database, ensuring all employee records are up-to-date and easily accessible.

2. Policy and Procedures Development:

  • Collaborate with leadership to design and implement company policies, procedures, and employee handbooks that align with the company’s culture and goals.
  • Regularly review and update policies to ensure compliance with local laws and best practices.

3. Notion Documentation:

  • Create and maintain HR-related documentation, policies, and procedures on Notion or similar platforms for easy access and collaboration.
  • Set up structured workflows and templates for streamlined HR processes.

4. Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into the team.

5. Employee Engagement and Relations:

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, fostering a positive and supportive workplace environment.
  • Organize team-building activities, employee recognition programs, and engagement initiatives to enhance morale and collaboration.

6. HR Operations and Compliance:

  • Manage payroll coordination, attendance tracking, and leave management in collaboration with finance and leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and other statutory requirements.

7. Performance Management Support:

  • Assist in developing performance evaluation frameworks and conducting periodic performance reviews.
  • Work closely with managers to identify training needs and organize professional development programs.

8. Startup-Specific Tasks:

  • Handle additional administrative tasks required in a startup environment, including vendor management, office supplies, and event planning.
  • Support leadership in building a scalable and sustainable HR function.

 

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

2. Experience:

  • 2-4 years of experience in HR, preferably within a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience in developing policies, managing HR documentation, and organizing HR operations.

3. Skills:

  • Proficiency in HR tools and platforms, as well as collaboration tools like Notion, Google Workspace, or similar systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships across the organization.
  • Familiarity with labor laws and compliance requirements.
