Job Summary
The Senior Product Analyst will be an integral part of the product team, driving the evolution and optimization of our client insurance offerings. He/she will be involved in conducting thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, gather customer feedback, and inform product strategy. The role demands close collaboration with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and develop product roadmaps. His/her analytical insights and data-driven recommendations will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the evolving needs of our client’s customers and remain competitive in the market.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs in the digital insurance space.
- Gather and analyze data on product performance, customer behavior, and market dynamics to inform product strategy and decision-making.
- Collaborate with product manager, engineering, and other stakeholders to define product requirements, prioritize features, and drive product roadmap planning.
- Develop business cases, product requirements documents (PRDs), and other documentation to communicate product specifications and priorities to cross-functional teams.
- Work closely with UX/UI designers to create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize product features and user interactions.
- Support product development and testing efforts, including user acceptance testing (UAT), bug tracking, and issue resolution.
- Monitor product performance and key metrics, such as adoption rate, retention rate, and customer satisfaction, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate product performance and user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, or related roles, preferably in the
- insurance, fintech, or technology industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-drive recommendations.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of digital insurance products, including policy management systems, claims processing, and customer engagement platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools, data analysis and wireframing tools (e.g.,Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, Tableau, Productboard).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Productboard).
- Understanding of technology and software development processes, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical teams and assess technical feasibility of product features.
- Familiarity with product analytics, A/B testing, and data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities, and overcoming challenges with resilience and determination.
