Our client is a dynamic and growing IT company specializing in Groceries, Gifting & Beyond. They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive team and drive their financial strategy.
JOB LOCATION: KSA (on-site)
JOB SUMMARY:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for the financial stewardship of the company, including strategic planning, financial reporting, risk management, and ensuring the company’s financial stability and growth. The CFO will work closely with the CEO and the senior management team to develop and implement strategies that support the company’s business objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute financial strategies to support business objectives and drive growth.
- Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior management and the board of directors on financial matters.
- Lead financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Monitor and report on financial performance, providing insights and data-driven recommendations.
- Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS, etc.).
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and capital allocation to optimize financial performance and support business operations.
- Assess and manage financial risks, including credit, market, and operational risks.
- Prepare and present financial information to the board of directors and other stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with external partners, including banks, auditors, and advisors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar senior financial role, preferably within a start-up.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; an MBA or CPA designation is a plus.
- 6-8 years of experience
- Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
